I want a glove that gives alot of finger protection. I sometimes end up with a sore finger after shooting. I was thinking of the Big shot maybe but was not sure if the fingers come back as far as I want. Thier site talks about shooting off the finger tips. I shoot with the string across the creases of my first knuckles.
This is from thier site...
"All of our gloves support good habits as they do not allow the shooter to take a deep hook."
I would also like to hear of any other glove that offer extra protection and a good release.
Thanks

I have and use the Superglove. When I first bought it, it made a sore place on my index finger due to the seam, but I lubed it up a bit and it's OK now.
It took a little getting used to. Because it's so stiff and thick with the cordovan tips, but now that I have got used to it, a normal glove feels too thin.
I don't use a deep hook, but I think you could with the Superglove.
The only thing I've tried that I like as much is a black widow tab. I like a tab for shooting, but I prefer a glove for hunting. I want to give the Full Shot glove a try someday.

I used to have the same problem. Everytime i would shoot my fingers would hurt. I switched to a superglove and haven't any pain since.

Best and only real innovation in gloves that has come along in years is the American Leathers Big Shot Glove...

The big shot and full shot gloves will allow a shooter to use a deep hook holding style.
