I thought I would share some progress with everyone. Here is my latest design. I tweaked the limb and riser angles. It's made of zebra, bolivian rosewood, and glass. This one is basically scraps from other projects. It's my "Frankenstein" bow! lol It's roughly 52# @ 28" Seems to shoot decent so far. I'm very pleased with the results. I've got alot of final sanding and finishing to do. I'll post pics after that. Here's what it start out as...

Great work on the scrap bow, looks great and in a sweet hunting weight as well.
Well that's one way to make use of scraps.
Look Great as always!
Great looking bow.
That's a sweet looking scrap bow!! Love the lines of the riser
Thanks guys. I was stippleing the grip this morning when my dremil blew up. :banghead:
That's an awesome looking bow. If this is a bow you made out of scrap then I wonder how a bow looks, when you put all the material together yourself.

Dang nice for scraps!! Great job Mike!
Oh yeah looks good.
Put my finale coat on her tonight. Hope to get to do some shooten this weekend. I had some trouble getting it all to fit together. The blocks of wood were just about to small. I ran short on my veneers and had to splice them. the wood match up really well in color though. All total I think I cut parts out of 4-5 differnt chunks. I wanted to use rosewood for the wedges but lack about 1" so I put zebra in its place. Thanks everyone.
Another great shooter!!!! but not as good as the one you build me :)
THanks Kip! Hope she's holdin up and you're putting her thru her paces.
Mike the beauty you sent me is shootin perfect and is an absolute pleasure to look at.... You got skills man :)
Here are a few pics of the finished bow. It ended up at 50# @ 28 and is 62" long. I think I might try and talk the little woman in to letting me make a new set of limbs. I want to try and add another 5-6#'s. I like it so much I am going to make it my go-to bow for now.
