Title: BBO
Post by: pipedream on March 30, 2012, 07:41:00 AM
I just sanded down the glue lines on a BBO longbow and found some spots along the edge where the boo is thicker (approx 1/16 or less) than others. I tried to get a knife edge along the sides, but I guess my flattening efforts were not totally even. Am I doomed?

No, you will still be able to tiller.

It will be fine. Your going to sand those edges anyway.

When you sand the edges do you sand the nodes at the edge also?

Yes and sand off the ruff edge on top of the node.
