Hello Guys,
Do any of you guys have the old timer longbows.
How did they shoot If you can add some pics.
Cody
If you are refering to the "Pearson, Old timer", I have on. It is an American style long bow. It shoots fine. Can't send pictures, sorry!

Cody, are you refering to the ones made by Tom Cole? If so I would like to know also. Flint
Yes the Tom Cole's I would like to see what they look like.

Tom Cole was making laminated longbows back in the mid 70's. I traded him for some osage lams to make my first osage longbow. He made all his bows by wrapping the glue-ups with rubber strips. He said he got the best glue lines that way. It does give good glue lines, but is a lot of work. His designs were basic American style longbows, that he finished by hand. Nothing fancy, just good shooters.
