I've tried Ferr-L-Tite, but I sill have some heads left in the target. I tried JB weld, and used my aligner. Next morning, my head was out of round again. I've heard some say they glue the head align it and hang it from the nock.
What's the best adhesive and how do I keep them on straight?
Clean the heads with something to get the excess oil out. You can then run a tap through it a couple of times to give it some bite, when you use the ferr-l-tite...
I used some acetone inside the heads and the Ferr-L-Tite still didn't hold. I didn't tap them, so maybe that's the problem.
I am a PowerBond fan...
I scratch the inside of the head with rolled up sand paper and then clean with alcohol or acetone. I use a slower set 2 ton epoxy (say 2 hours) and my homemade spinner.
Ferr-L-Tite gets brittle in the cold. I lost 3 field points yesterday.
I'm going to try 2 ton epoxy for BHs / adapters for carbons, and multi-temp hot melt for my woodies.
Sal (mysticguido) uses the multi-temp hot melt and lost 1 field point yesterday, compared to my 3. And the only reason he lost that one was because he made a comment about not losing any all day.
I'm with Randy. Scratch up the inside, clean it good(got to get the manufacturing oil residue off it) and use a good SLOW CURE 2 part epoxy. The 5 minute stuff is worthless. Never had a problem yet with this set up.

small gun brush will clean the insides too.
bad luck with power bond.... maybe was my prep work. Good luck so far with Goat Tuff. It is also heat reversible.
