Got my new RER LXR 3pc longbow/recurve today at the 8th annual D.A.M. Chili Shoot. This is gonna be a hot bow from what I can tell! I shot it all day with the recurve limbs on it and then shot the longbow limbs when I got home. A real shooter let me tell ya. Fast and quiet as can be with no silencers. This one is 60" 50@30 on the recurve limbs and 52@30 on the longbow limbs. Riser is all zircote and the limbs are bamboo cored with tigerwood veneers and zircote overlays. Heres the pics I promised you.

SAAWEEEEEET Lemme know if you need a place to store em all... LOL
I was there too... and saw these new bows. Two words. Suh. Weet.
I'll be ordering mine soon too.
You got that right Tim! wish you could have shot one at least a little while. Musta been tough not to. But you gotta get better first.
I wish Dale wouldn't have had Amanda shoot that one... she was already picking out woods for hers next year!
Leroy!!!!!!!!
Yer KILLIN ME!!!!!!! Dude that is a killer lookin chunk of wood. How does it compare to the std riser bow??
Got an email from Sue yesterday...They're pulling the woods for my "twins" I have on order.
And the good news is my therapist cleared me to do some shooting. I shot 10 shots yesterday!!!
Steve I like it better than the standard T/D. Plenty of mass in the riser but not too light. I actually this new limb design is faster than the standard recurve and amazingly ......The longbow limbs shoot right with them!
Tim while she's at it have her pick out the woods for yours! LOL!!
Awsome bow Leroy!! Good to see you restocking the bow rack!!
Restocking is complete Tim. Two bows and 3 sets of limbs are all I'll have from now on unless I order another set of limbs.
Sure is purty LeRoy!
I said the same thing once upon a time and we all know how long that lasted!! Good luck buddy!!
Thanks Jesse. How ya been Bro?
Beautiful combination of woods!!!
beautiful bow,leroy!
That right there is an absolutly beautifull bow,Your gonna have to bring them up when you come up for the smallies,J
Very nice.
Very nice

HAH!!! I'll believe THAT when I see it!!!
Ouch!! That Zircote is awesome man. That tiger stripe veneer is no slouch either. Congrats.
Belive it Steve! I'm done.
Man that is sweet. :notworthy:
Wow, that is the Ursula Andress of bow porn!
nice bow Leroy and thanks for the sweet stings you made. They're both shooting really nice.
Cool Glad they worked out so well for ya!

Doing good LeRoy thanks for asking. How about you?
Great looking bow.
Can you post a picture of the bow braced with the recurve limbs ?
Thanks.
You bet JD. I'll get some up in the morning.
Buckeyehunter
You NEED to make it to Cloverdale this summer!!
I'll second that!!
Wow that is nice. And just the perfect weight for me!! Can't wait to see it in person.
Man between you,me,and Steve theres gonna be alot of fun at Cloverdale this year.
Yeah but i don't have a new pretty bow like you guys! All i have is this old ugly worn out zipper!
Chad your bow is far from ugly! Give me a break man!
Chad....
uuuhh....exactly HOW did you wear out your zipper?
Never mind...I don't want to know!!!!
And the BEST thing about Golden Hawk (aside from being a great guy) is that no matter how pretty his bows are, sooner or later, they show up here in the classifieds! VERY nice looking bow, LeRoy.
That's a sweet bow! ;)
Very nice bow cant wait to hear more.
Now thats a fine set,LeRoy. Sure is a tough situation-just two bows. Always good to have a backup anyway. BTW, good looking wood.
Good lookin bow buddy. I hope she shoots good for ya!
Sweet bow!!!
SWEEEET bow Leroy!
Just put a new pic on pg 1 of the strung recurve limbs.
Leroy
I like the looks of that with the recurve limbs.
I wonder...If a guy had a set of limbs that were 50# @ 29" on a std riser....what would they be on the new LX riser. I might have to pop that question to Kevin.
that recurve looks like e real rocket launcher, leroy.
Steve the limbs from a standard riser won't fit this riser It's alot narrower.
You bet I like the looks of that baby. It looks alot like the bow I build. Of course the finish looks a little higher end than mine but it'll come. :D Love the 3 piece recurve grip with D/R longbow limbs. It's my favorite design in general. He's got the whole Shawnee thing going on too with recurve limbs ta boot. Wow. Them folks at RE are doin a heckava nice job. Probably less expensive than what I can buy materials for too I bet. :banghead: :goldtooth:
Congrats on a great bow!! Have fun. Randy.
Leroy, very nice. I just ordered a new T/D recurve. 60" 53#s at 28"s and Leopardwood and Purpleheart riser with boo cores and curly bubinga veneers. Hope it is as pretty as yours! Shawn
Sure it will be Shawn. Kevin and I were talkin about your bow Saturday at the shoot. Gonna look nice Bro!
Man I'm really starting to like those RER's....super sharp bow Leroy!
Just wondering how you like the grip. Does it require a high wrist or can you shoot it with the heel of your hand down? Those 3-piece longbows really get me going! Beautiful bow!
Love it! I'd call it more of a low wrist style grip but you could probably shoot it heel down also.
That's a beauty, man. Love those longbow limbs.
That is awesome LeRoy! I'm on the list for one of those beauties myself. You're pictures sure aren't making the wait any easier!
It'll be in your hand before you know it Joe. I'm sure you love it as much as I do!
My wife hates you for making me spend money. And you can bet I'm gonna keep blaming you too!
Looks like I got a phone call to make... Um, uh, Kevin? it's me again... :goldtooth:
LeRoy,
I just noticed this thread - nice bow man. I know you say it won't happen BUT put me on the list for first dibs when you sell in the next year or so. You may need to draw some Ontario bear blood with it first though.
