Looking to finish my bow project soon as the weather warms up a bit and then would like to make some arrows.
3/4" dowel a good size? I'm not a hunter but mostly target shooting, though once I get my bow made I'd really like to do some turkey hunting and was wondering about dowel size.
Thanks
Wow how heavy a bow are you shooting ?
Most wood arrows are somewhere in the 5/16, 11/32, 23/64 range. Some may get into the 3/8" range. Were you meaning 3/8" dowel ?

I like the 5/16" myself,the 3/8" feel heavy to me.but that's me.
Ya was wondering which dowel maker to buy 3/8 or 5/16.
Ramsey: Thanks
