My young son and I were hunting hogs the last couple of days. Had a fabulous time together; we saw lots of animals but did not have any real good shot opportunities-freezer is jammed full anyway.
During the eclipse the hogs went crazy! It sounded like a multi alarm fire-the most amazing cacophony of shrieks and howls you can imagine.
We did not hear any coyotes; they may have been drowned out by the hogs.
Anybody else experience anything similar during the eclipse?
I know it really set off my first and second grade booger-eaters today! Our elementary was a wildlife zoo all day.
I went outside and watched it for awhile. I was within city limits though...no wild creatures making noise...just the neighbors kids! Would have been interesting to experience that.
The coyotes around the house were going nuts when it started. Lasted on and off till it was over. I did`nt know we had that many around here.
