Just finished this one up today. BBI with a hickory/ipe/hickory handle 62" ttt 52# @ 28". Smooth on the draw and with the thin tips shoots very quick. The handle was shaped to the curve of the glue in R/D and glued on like on Torges DVD. I would definitely go with a powerlam again in the future and leave out that step. Overall happy with the way it shoots.
Random fact... this bow is made for a lead singer of a Heavy Metal band I listen to. He saw my twitter name "goosethebowyer" and that got us talking. He wife is due to have their first son here in the next couple of weeks and he is wanting to teach him to be a man's man when he grows up. So I made this feller a bow and we will see where it leads. Thanks for looking.

That looks real nice Goose, tell me what heavy metal band you listen to. I'm also a fan of heavy metal myself, have been since the 80's when I graduated high school, and just never really grew out of it.
Nice bow Goose, really a nice bow!

Semo: the best way to describe this music is "double pedal Jesus metal". The band is called For Today. The song Devastator is my favorite. If there was ever a theme song for me going out hunting that song would be it.
Thanks for the kudos guys! Hopefully this feller with be able to draw some blood with it and get hooked.
Good job, Goose. That ipe looks thin.
1/2" @ the tips and 1 1/4" at the fades. I'd say it's thin enough :)
