That's real nice Kenny, I like it! Looks smooth from where I'm sitting, hows it shoot?

Oh yeah, 64" TD longbow, 55# @ 28" shoots real good , but quite a bit higher than the 45#er!

A couple more...

Those close-ups made a difference.  Sweet looking riser.  I never thought much about take-downs until I started paying attention to some of the work I see here.

Very nice Kenny. Especially like the full draw tiller shape - nearly arc of the circle.

Oooooh yeah, those close ups of the riser are awesome! I couldn't see that in the first pics, very very nice.

Thanks guys, the riser is almost too busy to suit me, but I'm kinda a plain guy!  ;)

At my measly 28" draw, very smooth, at 31" the string is almost square with steady increase of 2.5# per inch to there.

Thay just keep getting better, can't wait for your plans to be released! I agree about the riser, I'm a plain guy to.

Thanks guys! This was built from mostly leftover pcs.

Got a barrel full of stuff that won't make 2 matching pairs for back/belly ,so I mix em in bows I build!

Zebra belly,jatoba back.

I don't mind different woods on each side as long as the top/bottom limb matches.

Dang Kenny, that's a nice looking bow. If it shoots the same way it looks, the deers better stay away from you.

I can sense the deer hiding in the woods in the background of your first pics.  They are emanating worried consternation!  :)

It's plain to see in your full draw photo that there is room for more draw without stack.  Methinks you yave a winning design there.  :goldtooth:

Thanks!

Monterey, it drew to 31" without change from the 2.5# per inch. I couldn't go anymore than that with my handheld scale. Need to rig it to my shooting machine somehow.

Should have plans ready to go by end of year. Workin on the 62/64" plans now, nearly done with em, then on to the 58/60"

Can visualize an order for plans and lams when the 62/64 is ready!!

Kenny have you built a 58"-60" yet? My riser is nearly identical to yours but is 17" end to end. A bit long for the 58" I built but it shoots great at my 28" draw. I'm looking at modifying the riser to make it 14"-15" for the 58-60" bow.

Galen, only in a one piece, but the riser is 18" on it.
