Title: Recording specs on bow.
Post by: Don Drake on June 29, 2011, 12:17:00 AM
I have seen pics of bows with the name of the bow and its weight/draw length written on the belly.  What is the best way to do this?

I hear india ink works well for writing on bows. I use a paint marker I bought from wally world. after my first 2 coats of finish I sand it down and write on the bow then finish over it.

I use India ink applied with a metal-nibbed calligraphic pen. Just be sure to mix the ink well before each use.

I use Industrial Use Sharpies.

I use a very fine tip paint marker.
