I just ordered a PSAII 60" long 84@28
I didn't go with an exotic wood as they can't go over 75 pounds with the bambo limbs.
I also have a new dozen Heritage 350's coming with 100 grain brass inserts and 8 grains per inch weight tubes.
I just love new toys

84 ...... are you sure that it going to be enough ? ;)
aahhhh I'm just jealous... trying to work past my 71 pounder.
Buff, just read your conversation w. Dr. Ed
Be honest, you just wanted a new bow, right?
Good luck!
fatman
PS should we be watching for video?
Sounds good, Buff! Good luck on whacking that Cape buffalo!
My PLX "Bocote" is 78lbs@29", so I suppose that is borderline. I find it peculiar or interesting that that is Black Widow's stance, whereas Howard Hill seems to be the opposite, ie. bamboo is what they will do in the real heavy weights.
84 lbs :scared:
I have a feeling some hogs are in trouble!
There must be a reason they call you BUFF.
Marty, Just curious how old are you? Do you workout??? are just pull bows for a living. :) I enjoy your post a bunch ...good luck with the Widow...wish I could pull something even close...56# is the best I can do ... :wavey:
congrats, hope that leads to more great videos.. the new bow should give ya some good "thump"
HOLY MOLY Marty..Id have to draw with both hands AND my feet...ought to be a slayer tho!
Buff, if I were you I would seriously think of upping the poundage on that bow. My 90 year old grandma shot 84# and we only let her shoot small cottontails with a bow that light.
Just a thought!
it is pretty much a one animal bow.... I love the way my lighter bows preform BUT I want all I can handle for my Cape Buffalo hunt. :) O and I really wanted another bow :jumper:
I hear he is gearing up for next years bunny hunt
I thought maybe you ordered a new Widow because you did not get a pass through at the big hog you shot at right next to the blind. That was a THRILLER. I have one on order that should be here in @ 3 weeks. I drove down to Nixa to pic out the lams last week. Shes gonna be 54in 45@ 26in. PSRX. Them Widdow boys are fine men. If my PSRX grows up maybe it will be as big as yours.LOL
I'm 1/2 Buff, pull 43#'s don't know what 84 feels like.
I doubt that I could pull back an 84# bow even if it had wheels on it. Sure sounds like the right medicine for Cape Buffalo, though.
...just as I suspected, Marty....
"I love the way my lighter (73#) bows perform"
Indeed....
I was blessed with a strong back and a weak mind
