Please comment on tiller. This is my second bow, which came from the same board as the first.
66"NTN, Pyramid design, 50lbs @ 28", basicly a twin of the first bow, but this one is for my buddy.

Been shooting it a bit near final tiller...maybe 50 shots through it.
Comments very welcome!
That's a fine looking tiller in my opinion. Good job way better than my second bow!
Hey where in Arizona are you? I'm in Tucson.
Must not be Tucson, I can't find Hickory here....
Thanks Bear!
NTD: I'm in the Phoenix area. There's a store here with lots of differnt species. Woodworker's supply in Tempe. Send me a PM maybe we can meet up or some such...
Very nice tiller.
The top limb looks just a tad stiff in the outer 1/3 of the limb toward the tip, but some guys make them that way on purpose.
Somebody needs to work their photoshop magic on this one to compare one limb on top of the other. Or draw those large eliptical circles inside the "D" shape.
Vanilla? John? Roy? :saywhat:
Looks pretty dang close though, good job. Your on a roll now, there ain't no going back....Your Hooked!!
I think ur right Semo. I'll take a closer look in the mornin..
Oh i was hooked a while ago! :biglaugh:
I'm itchin to get a stave and try it now...
Anybody think a Mesquite slefbow would work? :dunno:
I don't know much about mesquite, but I'd like to see ya make a selfbow out of it. If you can find one straight enough?
I know it smells good on a grill and gives the meat an awesome flavor. :p :D

Looks good to me...
I've been keeping my eye out for mesquite. I don't think you could find a long enough piece to do a decent self bow...but I bet you could do spliced billets. That's my plan anyway.
Excellent job!
