Is this normal? Do I need to adjust my knock point?

normal, it is just the high-point of your shelf.
you want that!
BD :)
It's normal, how long has it been on the bow and how many shots?
I've seen rests look like this in a few hundred shots.
Looks like you are also hitting the vertical piece with a feather.

I'd replace it but when installing the new one, place a small match stick under the rest where the "wear" point is which will elevate the rest material. This way, you only have one small contact point of the arrow onto the rest. The older Bear bows have relatively flat shelf and allows too much area for contact during the shot.
Hope this helps.
I have the same problem with my hair after 66 years young...seems to get a bit lighter each year after shooting that darm recurves....
Bill
Mine is way worse than that, but still shoots great. Guess it's time to replace it...
Bill some of us don't know how good we have it.. :bigsmyl:
Wingnut, its only been on my bow for about a month and a half. I have shot maybe 500 rounds or so. I am glad to hear its normal. All this stuff is new to me and I just want to learn as much as possible. You all are great!!
Thanks

bows.....you can even swim with it!!! rain and
snow will not bother it!
I figured out that my gray hair is better than no hair. Warmer at least I suppose. My buddy has no hair so I reckon his nock was off all his life. Nock, noggin? Whatever.
