After much reading,watching and learning (still don't know much) I decided to try my hand at building a red oak board bow. Just a few pics if y'all don't mind.66" and 55@29 with about 2" of set on each end. Got enough materials to do another when time is available :D

Rugged looking,,, I like it. Brace looks a bit high. Full draw pic does help us see your results better.
Thanks guys, brace is about 6 5/8 with a new dacron string on it. I figured I'd get a little stretch and get close to 6 1/2 or so. Kinda working off of hill and northern mist LB's at same length. Should it be lower?
