Title: My 58" Osage....

I ended up just gluing on a piece of oak for the handle.  I guess that means it's no longer a selfbow.  What should i call it?

I went ahead and used a small stingray to wrap the handle....

Then I made my first attempt at skinnin' it.

Ends up she shoots pretty good.  I'm real happy with it.

calling a bow with a glue on handle not a selfbow is like calling a selfbow with a leather handle wrap not a self bow.

That WAS a self bow until you snake backed it.  But I don't blame you a bit, the skin looks GREAT!
