How do You do it? I mean its Pretty Self Explainatory, What I want to Know is: What Decoy Makes the Best Target, made of Great Stuff Foam? How or What do You Use to Prepare the Decoy, for the Foam to Release? Baby Powder, CornStarch Baby Oil?
Any and ALL Help, Tips, Or Tricks are MOST WELCOME!! :readit:
I have a couple of feather flex decoys that could certainly be filled with foam to make targets. I would suggest, however, if you're going to the trouble of filling one, I'd get the foam from 3-D Country and make it worth the effort. This foam is better than you find in most 3-D targets and I think one kit would be enough for a turkey target. I don't know that I'd even try to used a release agent. I'd just shoot the decoy after it was filled. I think you'd still have a nice target at probably half the cost of buying one.
I can tell you from experience that a Sceery blow up decoy can't handle but one shot! :banghead:
 I may have the Very same thing, if I DO , I Promise to Post Pictures!! What is the Price Difference of the Regular "Walrus World" "Good Stuff Foam" and the 3D Foam? FRUGAL is My Middle Name these Days!! :(
More like Pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff stt
I used the great stuff with an old decoy, and it worked great. BUT when you add the foam, do it in a few steps. Add a few inches, let dry. Add a few more, let dry, etc.... The reasoning is that if you fill the decoy full of the insulation, it will not fully dry. I learned this the HARD way.
Thanks Y'all for the Info!! Its Much Appreciated!! I am gonna Scope Out the 3D Foam To!! Oh yeah, the Foam I Bought was for Large Holes, I better by some Regular Foam Too!!
