B-50 should work fine. Once you get it wrapped seal the B-50 with super glue or TBIII.

Thanks Pat

LOL. I just fixed one. Appears to be holding. It wasn't that bad though. Put in super glue, put on epoxy, wrap, put on a coating of epoxy. That's what I did. Jawge

Hi Jawge,
when you put the epoxy on, you rubbed it into the wrap? That is what I do with my strings and to some degree my servings though usually with Duco.
Besides fletch tite and Duco doesn't hold, what kind of glue do you think would hold feathers on wood. I use contact cement now with great success, but it is messy and requires a modicum of clean up.
Much Aloha and Merry Christmas to you all.

I put the super glue underneath and in the splinter. Let dry a bit. Then I put on a little epoxy. Wrap the splinter. Then put on some more epoxy. I use Duco for fletching. It's on bare wood. Then I brush on polyacrylic. I also wrap the feathers with real or artificial sinew. I too have put on a bit of Duco on serving. Jawge

What is the reason for the crack? Is this a board or a log stave? If board, then the grain is wandering off. YOu need straight grained stock. If log then you did not follow the lateral grain when laying out the bow. Jawge

It is a board bow, Their are some runoffs. I will definetly search harder for a straighter grain board the next time.
Will titebond III work for B-50 wrap?
