Craig Warren, Black Timber Bows, I think out of Warren, Maine, builds both longbows and recurves.  Craig is the inventor and marketer of the Bow Bolt takedown system, a slick two-piece arrangement that has many followers among bow builders.

Try doing a search on past threads, you should be able to come up with contact and background info for his products.  Craig's also a super-nice guy, BTW.

There are also a couple of self bowyers around, but I'm not sure whether they sell bows or just make them as a hobby. Adam Mooney used to make the ADM longbows in Gorham, but moved to New York last summer.

BTW, Craig makes a beautiful bow

Yep, he builds a great bow. I've only seen one in person though. I got to get around to asking him if I can stop by when I'm headin up to my property in Montville. I go right thru the toll booth in his town and it makes me think of his bows. What beauties...

Thanks for the kind words Tony and Kevin.

Dave and Micky, stop by anytime.  The new shop is finally up and running.  Better call first though, in case I'm out shed hunting or off shooting somewhere.
