How is Russian Olive as a bow wood?
-
Never tried it Nate. Give it a try and let us know.
-
It works as veneer in a laminated bow.
I did a bend test on a sample and it performed similiar to ash, but I never got around to building a self bow out of it.
-
I'll give it a try after letting a local stave dry that I cut..
-
One of my new favorite quotes is from a guy on a Australian trad site "I know how you can find out."
-
