I recently bought a really nice Bear Kodiak..it's in near perfect shape except the original owner drilled two small (less than 1/8") holes in the face of the riser (white fiberglass) to mount a bow sight.Do I try to repair it or leave it alone ? Sent an email to bowdoc.I do have the original sight (minus the dovetail pin)..just don't want it on the bow.Whatta ya think.I was told the bow was made in 1966..rh 50# 60"...any "good" advice ? Thanks ; Doug
It won't hurt anything either way. If you are going to shoot the bow and keep it, then just let it alone or fill it yourself. If you want to resale, then get it done by someone who has done it well before.
Check "The real bowdoc's" comments in the collectors section on the KM Rebuild along.. He covers it pretty well, No very well
thanks to all...Doug
