-
Oh man,Ineed their feather !
-
these turkeys are something else... i can stand in the window and watch them come up and peck at the foundation of the house.... when i hunt them in the woods, i cant get them close enough to shoot.... it is such a rush to come out of the house in the morning to go to work and hear the gobblers thunder just before day break..they are so beautiful..
-
Yes they are and you are blessed to hear them every morning
-
You lucky dog!! Its a fine place you live!! We had LOTS of turkeys 7-8 yrs ago,not sure what happened,50 miles any direction, they start getting more numerous. Sure ain't cause I hurt the population!!
-
yeah..they are getting thick around here..... one thing ive found interesting is they seem to be drawn to the skunk cabbage in the swamps behind my house in the early spring...at first i thought they were feeding on the plant...and then i actually found out they were feeding off of the plant...the plant was producing enough heat in the spring to hatch bugs..and the turkeys were chowing...
-
