Title: Possible deal of the century
Post by: T Folts on August 07, 2010, 06:26:00 PM
A contact through my cousin has some grizzly equipment that is sitting in a shed not being used.
There is a 15 planer, 8" jointer, dust collector, a molder with a power roller. Also there is a radial arm saw and table saw by craftsman. Plus a bunch of hand tools ect.. This stuff has not been used for 3-4 years and has surface rust but looks like with a little cleaning it will be fine.
He told me we should be able to get it for penny's on the dollar. My plan is to sell what I don't want and end up with the planer, jointer and dust collector for nothing. wish me luck

I've really loved cleaning up and rebuilding some of the big tools I've gotten really cheap in sales.  With some attention, most will happily perform as well as they ever did.

Well this is how it turned out. I ended up getting a Grizzly G1018 65X8 2hp jointer, and a Grizzly G1021 15" 2hp Planer, both for $160.
They are dusty and the tops need cleaning but look in good shape otherwise, I'm happy
