What is your favorite broadhead for three-D shoots,
clouts and wands with a longbow?

Why would you use a broadhead for 3d shoots?
The Traditional Archers of Oregon has an upcoming Pope and Young shoot and broadheads are required for all events except for children. The three events are a 3-D shoot a clout and a wand shoot- broadheads for one and all.

Overon, I have done that shoot two years in a row now. Get the cheapest braodhead you can find. It's in old growth with lots of ferns for forest cover. If you miss you can pretty well kiss your arrow good bye. Also, dull the edges so they don't penetrate too far into the foam. I used Magnus II's.

mardens are very cheap!
I was at teh National Archery Buyers Association meeting this past weekend. Cajun Archery has Tuskers for sale and I told the owner that the people who sshot at NALS and Pope and Young needed solid, unexpensive-not cheap-broadheads. I have some Tuskers and they are really first class and come unsharpened. They can be single beveled or regular beveled after the shoots you attend. They are very popular with the folx down under and seem to be the head of choice for Assiatic buffalo. They come in weights from 110 to 195 I think. Look up his web site and give him a call.
