I have always shot longbows. I guess I could never get past the noise coming from the limb slap. The only recurve that has ever appealed to me is the Schafer one piece. Does anyone have any pictures of one piece bows that they could share? Thanks!
Oh no!!!!!
Do I see a stable of recurves next now??
Well you never know..... You think if I called their shop they could send me some pictures? Not really any good ones one the site. (Not of the one piece bows)
Scott; tried to email you some pics! Didn't work. Don't know how to post pics . Sorry!
One more thing Mike, I think I have cleared out most of the longbows except the Dwyers and one pronghorn. LOL I really want to shoot a one piece Schafer. I shot at TD at the 3/d shoot this weekend. The guy didn't have it tuned worth a crap but it did shoot smooth and was very pretty.
Sergio, my email is LSS152@hotmail.com. See if that will work.
I just got this 60" one piece today 52@28 Macassar Ebony / Zebra wood veneers. The craftsmanship is OUTSTANDING

Thanks for all the pictures. It really helps when you are trying to decide what to order.
What to order!!
Oh oh..........it has begun.........again.
Have you made a decision on what to order??
My 3pc longbow that will be ready late Oct/early Nov is walnut dymondwood limbs w/clear glass, walnut actionwood riser to match, checkered grip(of course),and antler tip overlays......oh yeah, and antler burr limb bolts.Gonna be 62" and #53 @ 28".
There's a 10 month wait right now,and I'm only 2 months thru it,it's killin me!!Glad I was lucky enough to run into a 2pc silvertip longbow to keep me until mine's finished. It's 66" and #52 @ 29".Rosewood actionwood riser, dymondwood limbs with zebrawood vaneers under clear glass.Absolutley love shooting that bow!!
Wanted a t/d for travelling,so now I have a 2pc with the 3pc on order............might have to go ahead and order a 1pc just to round out the stable, even tho I already have a few 1pc longbows.I think it'd be neat to have one of each Silvertip longbow offering..... :bigsmyl:
Good luck in your search and decision making.Let us know what you decide on.........
TTT
Mine is coco and yew limbs as well with a tulipwood a stripe, I believe, could be yew. My next is gonna be a T/D with all the bells and whistles non-FF a well. My 60"er is the quietest recurve I have ver shot, LB quiet in fact. Shawn
Don't go away folks ! Tim Schoenborn is about to post some pics of my one piece!! Alright!!
Not sure if these are the pics that Sergio is talking about. This is bar none, my favorite Silvertip that I've seen.

Hey Tim;
thanks for posting pics. yup! Really nice and i've ever shot an arrow from it! Just too many 'tips! Did I say that!! Nah! One can never have too many 'Tips.
Serg, if ya ever decide to unload that one you be sure to let me know... I can't promise I won't run an arrow thru her though, she sure does look like a shooter.
How many were made like that, any ideas? Think Dave would make me one if I beg, and pleade, maybe a bit of grovelling.
Hi tim; Sorry, but it's already spoken for if i decide to sell . but thank you for the offer. I'm sure Dave would accomodate you, if you if you begged, pleaded , grovelled and promised him your next child LOL.
Tim,
I think that is just the "wave" option. I thought it was like $250 or so...
Sergio, what's the wood combo?
Looks like osage with something....
Beautiful....
Kevin; The riser wood is Real Cocobolo , not dymond wood, with a Amarilla flare and the limb tips are a black and yellow Micarta. I chose Amarilla over osage because Osage darkens with time and i wanted a lasting contrast.
Sergio, that is awesome looking bow sir...great combo of woods too...marco#78 :wavey:  :coffee: :goldtooth:
Thank You Mark.
beautiful bow, work of art
Sergio That bow is OUTSTANDING
Thank You michael; But your one piece 'Tip is also OUTSTANDING!!
I don't think i've ever seen an Ugly one!
Those are all beautiful bows, keep them coming.
Tom
Shawn; I respectfully recommend you go with the fastflite Tips whenever you purchase a new one , you can still use Dacron , but have the option of switching to fastflite at a later date.I have both types and am really liking my 'Tips with 450 premium strings. jmho.
What!! No more one piece Silvertips out there !!
Sergio  That grip on yours with the wave :clapper: Is the cat's pajamas. I have to agree with you , all the Tip's I've seen not a bad looker in the bunch. Dave & Beth are a CLASS ACT
Mike :coffee:
