Title: Anyone every get a bunch of bandsaw bearings
Post by: bjansen on July 20, 2010, 09:52:00 PM
I remember a post a while back about a good, inexpensive place to buy some bandsaw replacement bearings for a Grizzly 14" Ultimate saw.  I never placed an order for any, but just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to get some.

Or if anyone bought a huge lot back them and wants to sell some send me PM.  Mine are way past shot!!!

Thanks

I sent you a PM with the source I used. I bought 16, changed one out today. The thust bearings are available pretty cheaply as well at the same place.

I have found my bandsaw bearings get dust in them an lock up pretty quickly.

You can find many cheap sources online. Try to get sealed bearings. They won't last forever, but they'll last longer.

I get mine from BOCCA Bearings.  I replace every three months now on the guides.  The wheel bearings I replace when I notice an issue when changing blades.  CHECK them regularly!
