Title: has anyone ever spray painted a bow?

i have an old browning wasp that i use for bowfishing and i was wanting to refinish it. i was wanting to do a camo job on it but i never have done it before if anyone has done this i could really use the feed back thanks.

I also have a Browning Wasp that was in bad shape. Mine had horizonal stress marks in the glass on the back. I got a can of spray-on bed liner from NAPA. Works great for bows or guns. You can alos add some green/brn for a camo effect if you want.

did you have to sand the bow at all?

I used to do it almost every fall. I used some paint made by, I believe Bohning. it didnt stick to well, and was easily rubbbed off, but the two cans(brown and gray) lasted almost 10 years.
