Title: How to change profile?
Post by: Apex Predator on February 12, 2008, 04:11:00 PM
Every message that I have ever viewed shows up in blue.  Is there a way to set up my profile so that when something new is posted it goes back to orange?  I didn't know specifically where to post this question.
Thanks, Marty

Hmmm. I always sorta liked knowing which ones I had seen already. It is very useful in the classifieds section. I don't think it has any link to your preferences, or your profile.

All orange? It would be like a whole new snow-covered field with no tracks in it yet! That can bring both exhilaration and disappointment, I guess.

Killdeer~all orange, sounds like Alzheimer's to me. Everything old is new again!!  :bigsmyl:

Apex, if you "logout" after every session, it should reset everything....of course, you'll have to "login" again for your next session....

Go to tools; internet options; clear cookies; ok

That will definately do it.  :bigsmyl:

You mean the topic subject field.

Yes, it turns color to let you know you've been there and seen/read that particular topic.  That's a good thing and one we won't change.

IF you have a question about the system, please email Admin or a Mod directly and keep the topic focus on trad bowhunting.

Thanx,
Rob.

Other bulletin boards change back to a neutral color after a new post on all topics, so if you answered or asked a question you know that someone has posted since you have.  I think it makes things easier, but maybe I'm just weird.
