Does anyone have any experience with the Black Rino Bows? I am looking at the small one they make for my 3 year old daughter. They look very nice for the money, I just have never laid my hands on one. She is dying to get her own bow so she can shoot with the rest of us. Her older brother has a Stacy bow but it is just too big for her. She is very petite but pretty strong for her size. They say its 9lbs at 18inches, 35in long. Thanks in advance for any help
Dan
You can't go wrong. Go ahead and get it.
Great bow for a child,my son loves his.
Dan,
I got my daughter that bow for her 5th b-day and she is still shooting it today (she's now 7). The customer service is great, and haven't had any problems with the bow or the arrows they sell either. I would recommend that if you get their arrows that you cut them down to 12 or 13 inches as they fly so much better than at 20-24 at which they come. Needless to say I have a shooting buddy for life. They are very fast I ordered hers on a monday night and when I got home at 3:30pm on wednesday it was on the table. They can't be beat.

Thanks for all the help guys, one question on the arrows though. Are the wood arrows durable enough for a small child? I could see them sustaining some damage just in how they may be pulled from the targets.
Dan
DanDaMan,
I have purchased two of them over the past two years. They are the bow of choice for my fiancee'. I have offered to buy Samantha a Black Widow if she wants it, she says NO!
That is about the best endorsement I can give. They are great bows, not just for the little ones, but for adults too!
Have to agree, they are great bows at a good price.
My son and daughter (9&10 yrs.) have both been shooting the M48 for going on 2yrs. now. Nice bow. Light, small grip, well made, and it throws the 1/4" shafts fast and flat. Arrows are plenty durable for targets. May snap a few when stumping or on impacts to rock, but if they aren't losing a few they aren't shooting enough. Tips can sometimes pull off in targets but a dap of glue fixes that. Go for it, she'll love it.

Yep, I have had the same experience as above. I have a 4 and a 5 year old. Both have a BR. I buy the wood arrows from him and they hold up pretty good. The best thing is my kids love when they stick in the target.LOL
My 10 year old son has been shooting one for two years now. 48" 25@24" - loves it. Really nice shooting bow. I put a leather grip on it and make him arrows out of 1/4" ramin dowels- he breaks and loses alot! He's about ready to move up in wt. and length so this summer we'll be looking for the Black Rhino booth at Denton. They give you a trade in of like 50% when your kid upgrades-you can't go wrong with these bows!
I have three daughters (ages 11,8,and 3) and three BR bows. They love them and shoot them very well. I have a 58", 48" and a 35". They are all well made and shoot great. Don't waste your time with the little plastic custom grip. I bought all three with it and regret it. My kids say it actually makes the bow harder to grip. I bought some of the adhesive leather from 3 Rivers and made grips for all three and it works great and my kids love them. Hope this helps, DAVE
call sipsey river they have kids bows that are about half the price and are pretty nice as well. Sipsey River is in the sponsor list.
Great bows as everyone above has commented. I got one for my 6 yr. old for Christmas and he shoots it constantly.
Get One!!! You will be very happy.
... mike ...
we have 2 BR's and the club where I coach has five and next year I am buying more in my opinion they are the finest kids and youth bow on the market and their customer service is great. Go for it you will not regret it Delin
Yes!!!!! Get one!!!!! Mikey even had one "custom" ordered LOL!!!!! A model 36 40# @ 12"!!!!!
(only kidding.....Sorry my Little Friend,I just couldn't resist LOL)
Honestly though,I bought a model 42 for my son Tyler and it was probly one of the best investments I've made!!!!! I'm hanging on to it because of thier great trade in policy. I will soon be getting him a 40# model 58.
Wow, Looks like I will HAVE to get one just to see what all the talk is about. Some of you mention a trade in policy, what is that about? I read through their site and either didn't see it or it isn't mentioned.
Dan
They are a great little bow, I bought one for my 7 yr old daughter when she was 3-Now her 2 yr old little sister is using it!!
I believe they give you half of what the bow was bought for in trade for a step up in bows!!!
