Post by: daveycrockett on February 12, 2008, 11:18:00 AM
Anybody with a long draw shoot one? What pounds draw and arrow are you shooting? Got one coming 61@30. Wanting to shoot Carbon Express Heritage, 250's or 350's 31" arrow. What point weight you guy's think? Thanks David

Id guess you may need the 350s if you use a point heavier than 145 gr. Maybe a 250 for 125 gr.

I've been shooting the Desert Fox for a year, 55#@28", I'm a 27+ draw probably pulling 53#. I shoot CX 150 @ 30 1/2" with 150 heads and 100 gr. inserts and fur silencers.  It took a lot of experimentation to get to this point and may still be slightly stiff.  Shoots great, love the bow.

Different bow, but I am 56# @32", and a full length Heritage 250 with 225g up front.  I draw the field point right onto the shelf.

Played with it a little today. It seemed to like a 250 heritage 31.25" long with 50grain brass and a 125 grain head. Finished out at 573 grains total arrow weight.
