Ok just humor me here.
who likes 3 fletch? who likes 4 fletch?
4 fletch...never going back to 3...
any one?
4 Fletch for me Brother Jerry.
Looks like the smart guys are trailing with 35%.
;)
4 for me. 60x120.
do you run a straight fletch if you run 4? I guess you dont need a cock feather??? can you tell a difference in speed with 4?
I fixed up 4 arrows a month ago with (4) 4" and I am sold.

3 works for me
I have shot 3 fletch for years (like 27+ years) and they shot great. And in that time I tried 4 fletch (I don't know what kind) amd they didn't shoot so good.
Last summer I tried the 4 fletch with 4"@60/120 and they flew great, just as good as the 3 fletch.
So I would say both.
Alan
I have tried a few four fletched, but they did not shot better than three (to me anyway) to justify the added cost... what can I say I am a cheapo. ;)
I like 3, 5 1/2" shields or nanners
Hey John; if you chop your own you can get two 4" from one full length feather so they are actually cheaper. And yes I shoot 4 fletch, 90x90.
I shoot 3's & 4's depends on the mood I'm in when I'm making arrows. I like both of them. One things for sure mkes no matter which way a four is turned for nocking.
Thanks to Charlie and Rob, I've switched to 4 fletch 75x105. I love it. DAVE
After reading this post I fletched a few arrows with 4 fletch. I have a Jo Jan fletcher and it will do 4 fletch by turning the nock reciever around. Mine puts 2 fletching close together on opposite sides of the shaft is this right and what is it called. I havent shot them yet but will try them tomorrow.
La., The standard 4 fletch pattern on a JoJan is 75*x105*.
