Hands down I don't know of any activity that contains so many good and generous people like the traditional archery family.
I have talked with Gregg at the K-zoo Expo and through e-mail for the past couple years, and anyone who has spoken with him knows he is a down to earth and good person.
My daughter Casey had the opporunity to try out Greggs sons bow at the expo and she instantly fell in love with it. We got back to the table to return it and she gave me those sad "I really like that bow" eyes. At the time there was no way we could get her one and I was bummed out. Times are really tight. She had a bow to shoot, but she is quickly outgrowing it. Greggg told me to get a hold of him and we could figure something out. After talking with him, I was going to sell off my hunting bow and use a cheapy so she at least would have something to use for life. I would rather see her have a quality bow than myself.
A couple weeks passed and I got a package in the mail and a e-mail from Gregg saying that the only payment in return was for the recipient to enjoy the bow! We were blown away by this and I have a super happy girl with a beautiful bow. Thank you so much for your generosity Greg!
The veneers are tulipwood, which fits my daughters personality perfectly. Specs are 56 long and 43#@26, which will blow through deer easily. Here are a few pics and a video to follow, she is sort of camera shy,LOL!:

Now that is very nice.
Gregg is one of a kind, he is a great bowyer but even a greater man! God bless you Gregg and you to Arwin and Casey!
Greg, you really are a special person. Jim
Yep Gregg has a 22 carat character and an artisan's artisan of a bowyer to boot. I noticed something about him over the years. He approaches(or seems to to me) life as if everyone he meets is his friend. A Great Guy indeed.
Gregg
really
extra
good
guy!
I also had the privilege to talk with Gregg at the Kalamazoo Expo. Ron is very lucky to have Gregg as his bowyer. He knows his stuff and is a super nice guy to boot.
Gregg is one top notch dude!!!!!!

Like she said "It Rocks". Way to go Gregg :clapper: .
In such a greedy, money hungry world, Guys like Gregg really stand out. Outstanding gesture. :archer:
aint nothing like the trad gang family. i think the rest of the world should take note and maybe some things in our country would turn about.
Very nice of you Greg
Coffee for president and a Shrew in every pot....
Thats good java, man. :coffee:
too cool.....too cool!!!!!!
Gregg is first class and makes one fine bow. :clapper:
When Gregg was first making bows for Ron, he made a birthday bow for my son Tyler. He drove to a meeting I was attending on a Saturday to deliver the bow to me. It's good to see Gregg getting the accolades he deserves as a bowyer and a person.
With all I hear through the Shrew grapevine about Gregg, I know that his proudest accomplishments are with regards to his kids. He's a great father and I think this act just shows his empathy for a fathers relationship to his child in the outdoors and shooting sports. That's a true craftsmenship to be a master of.
Congratulations Gregg!!!
Well said Ray, Well said!
Nice!
Gil
What an outstanding gesture of generosity and caring. And judging from your daughter's expressions in the photos, she "owns" the bow already!
