I see a Big Horn recurve for sale and it says
A-22-5 on the riser.Does anyone know what that means? Its a 58"50#@28".Thanks.
Superdog-1; is it an Asbell bow or an Indian archery recurve? ,...............Shick
Sorry,it doesn't say in the add.
You might want to find out. There's a big difference between them. As far as I know, the Asbell Bighorns don't have that kind of serial number.
It's a bow I see on ****.So far the high bid is like $47.00.But I like the specs. Thanks guys.
Went over to **** and looked at it for you. It is an Indian Archery bow, probably from the late 60's or early 70's. They were a good entry level bow for the time. The holes in the riser were for a sight. Not a bad bow, depending what you are going to use it for. It's value is kinda up to you. Myself, I'd file a radius on the shelf and use it to shoot fish.
SD, I own three bighorns an Asbell and two post Asbell and none have that numbering. The newest was purchased 6 mo ago so unless they changed the # system recently it is not the Bighorn that I know. Indian Archery possibly?
I'll put a cheap bid in on it and see what happens.I'll see what condition its in and maybe hunt with it.Thanks.
