Title: Big Horn question

I see a Big Horn recurve for sale and it says
A-22-5 on the riser.Does anyone know what that means? Its a 58"50#@28".Thanks.

You might want to find out.  There's a big difference between them.  As far as I know, the Asbell Bighorns don't have that kind of serial number.

It's a bow I see on ****.So far the high bid is like $47.00.But I like the specs.Thanks guys.

Went over to **** and looked at it for you.  It is an Indian Archery bow, probably from the late 60's or early 70's.  They were a good entry level bow for the time.  The holes in the riser were for a sight.  Not a bad bow, depending what you are going to use it for.  It's value is kinda up to you.  Myself, I'd file a radius on the shelf and use it to shoot fish.

SD, I own three bighorns an Asbell and two post Asbell and none have that numbering. The newest was purchased 6 mo ago so unless they changed the # system recently it is not the Bighorn that I know. Indian Archery possibly?
