Made this couple months back in my sculpture class out some scrap wood from my work and some from the school. Hard maple and walnut. The stripes in the arm go all the way through. Their simply single band saw cuts done one at time and glued right back together with the walnut veneer stuck in between. Unstained finish.

Are you sure you want to stand your bows on end for long periods of time. This may cause some unrepairable limb damage. Consider.
Dan.....WOW some VERY nice work there
Thanks!
Mr. Chuck: Come on now their just bows. I make them out of random pieces of wood, that's all they are. Call me crazy but I just don't worry about stuff like that.
