hey thanx guys. I saw a bow a while back that grozer made for hunting so I tried to draw up a template similar and made my form from it and I am very happy with the outcome. I'll keep adding pics as I go along hopefully it doesnt turn out a flop! :)  you think I should try make a template of it for people to download??

I have lately been working on the bow, i did the knocks the tapered the limbs and started to tiller it...

UNTIL... The bellyside glass delaminated at about 20"!! it turns out a blob of unmixed smooth on got between the lamination and caused it to fail luckily we were able separate the glass without causing damage to the limbs.

but on the positive side the limbs were straitening up very nicely on the tiller! I am very happy with the shape of the form!

we will try laminate the glass back on and test it on the tiller again to see if it will become a success or a new ornament for the wall!
