I was finally able to take this guy today. This nice boar has been giving me the Houdini act since October but this morning he made a brief mistake. He sensed something was not quite right at about 7yds and "backed" back into the brush, turned and began walking away, eliminating any shot opprotunity, but he stopped to take one last look in my general direction - at a severe quarting away angle. I slipped my Elite Cedar with a Magnus I behind the last rib and buried it up to the fletches. He only went about 70yds. I have a Kempf Qwyk Styk on the way so I bought this used Widow to get more acquainted with the foward handle design similar to the Kempf design and I like it:)

Congratulations! Very nice hog.
I cant help but notice the single arrow quiver. I'm very interested in hearing the story on that.

Very cool...congrats on a fine shot and hog!
I hope you like your KS as much as I like my two...be sure to post pix when you get it....
Now that's a pig right there! Congratulations on an awesome animal. That must have really got the blood pumping having it at 7 yards!
Congrats on the HOG, I agree with Guru, You will love the KS.
Nice pig there guy!!
Little Piggy? THATS A HOG :D
Nice job Troy!
Wow!!!
Sometimes you gotta make the shot happen.
Nice job!
Thanks guys.
That single arrow quiver (Ace in the Hole) came on the bow when I bought so I just left it on. I usually use a Thunderhorn 4-arrow and it ended up biting in the butt. I had a shot another hog (much bigger) while tracking this one down but the only arrow I had was in the hog but it was nice and easy traversing through the thick brush.
Curt, I will post pics the day it arrives (about 2-weeks I hope)
mmgrode, yes it is a bit nerve racking but that's one reason I love it so much. I ran into a group of hogs while tracking this one and had a bigger hog with 2 sows headed straight for me and there where 19 little piglets with them. I had one piglet within a foot of my foot. I kept my eye on a tree and my knees where a little weak once they pasted by.
Man, I wish we had hogs in Wisconsin! That's just cool!
If thats a little pig i have to see the Big one.Congrats Thats huge.
