Title: Flemish string maker
Post by: highlife on October 07, 2009, 12:15:00 PM
Who is the string maker on this site?
I thought I read a thread with someone stating that they has so an so's string on there bow ... I just bought a 1966 Bear Kodiak 60" length with a 55# draw and would like a nice brown and yellow string made.

If you can help me locate the guru I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Vince

String is pretty easy.  I imagine most of us make our own.   Mine ain't the best, but works for my needs.  I suggest Chad Weaver at recurves.com.  Good guy.

Bought a string from Chad and ordered it to short (MY FAULT) he sent me a new one for nothing. Great guy to deal with and makes an awsome string.
He goes by LBR here on the gang.
