finished new bow last night..I went with a 20 1/8" riser on this one (used a 21 3/4" riser in first two) 1 3/4" wide limbs, Walnut Dymondwood riser, Walnut veneers and red elm taper from KennyM. I don't have a bow scale but it feels like it will go 50# @ 28", gonna build a few more of these before hunting season and a 56" "treestand" bow. I guess I can sell my favorite Hunting bow now, my awesome 52 lb 56" BW TF III.. (http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt46/Robertfishes/3rdbowwalnutredelm.jpg)

Walnut veneers from KennyM, shoes from Gander Mtn. (http://i596.photobucket.com/albums/tt46/Robertfishes/3rdbow.jpg)

Looks sharp! Are you getting dymondwood from bingham or somewhere else? I'm putting the last coats of finish on mine, so it will be ready this weekend for TBOF. See ya there
-
thanks, Patrick I have been buying the Dymondwood from Binghams. I have been getting most of my Smooth On, veneers, glass and tapers from KennyM. I have enough supplies to build 4 more bows..I still have room for improvement but I am very sastisfied with the bows I have built. What are the specs on your TD bow?

Thanks Kenny, this one came off the form so good all I had to do was file one side of a nock a fuzz deeper to get it pulling straight, tiller was 1/8", left it there. I need to order some more amberboo, I need to take inventory and will e-mail you

Looks real nice there Robert. I'll have some at TBOF to trade if we make it there. I'm in the same boat as you now. Selling custom bows and using my self glass bows.

Thanks guys, still learning, only bled 3 times on this one...Shawn I just made a real big batch of "deer meat" spagetti, If you guys are hungry stop by and have some with us,we will also have some smoked sausage, eggs and wraps for breakfast.
I sold almost all of my favorite bows and one old gun to get the tools to make "my own" bows.
-
Great job on that one, Robert. Wish I was close enough for some of that spagetti.
