Hi there folks, just wondering if any of you shoot acadian longbows? Been drooling over the 1Pc Tree-stick and Cajun hunter :notworthy: Please guys, tell me how they shoot are they good hunting bows? Thinking of getting one (more like dreaming at the moment) in the forseeable future! Thanks guys,
J
I don't own one now but have shot them before and owned a 3 piece longbow for a while. A shear pleasure to shoot and full of "eye candy" for sure. Tim really knows his way around wood tools. If you buy one you will never be disappointed. Go for it.
Tim's a fine fellow and makes a very attractive bow. You won't go wrong with an Acadian. I own one of Tim's 3pc TreeSticks and it's a beauty. Very smooth.
Have a 1 pc Tree Stick and love it. Great looking and great shooting bow. I've killed several deer with it. If you have ever heard of Warren Womack he has shot one of Tim's 1 pc. recurves for years and has killed an unbelievable number of deer with it. Check out his web page. And by the way Tim' a great guy also! Order a Tree Stick you'll be glad you did!

I dont know about the longbow, but the recurve sure shoots nice.
Thanks guys, so the Tree stick is a sure thing! Does anyone know how the Cajun Hunter behaves?? Love that grip looks like it means business!
I have the 1pc Classic recurve excellent bow shoots hard and fast, no hand shock and scary quiet.
I am sending it to Tim next week for a face lift she will get a new leather grip, strike plate and some nice snake skins on the limbs.
you cant go wrong with an Acadian.
