Super glue under the splinter and a sinew or thread wrap.

I have one too. I would think CA injected under the spinter then maybe rawhide backed? Maybe a snake skin over that?

I think either solution would work but Pat's would be easier.

I'd rather put a short sinew patch over it, instead of a wrap. anyways, I don't think snakeskins will help much. Goodluck!

I should of mentioned the splinter is 6" long by 3/16" wide and paper thin.So would wrapping it in say three different places work or should I back it. Thanks

You can probable put a wrap at each end of the splinter and be fine. One in the middle also would be better.
I have a Vinson Minor Cane Dragon that developed a splinter on the back. I sent it back to Vinson and he put a rawhide backing on it and I have not had any troubles with it. This was done about 4 or 5 years ago.
