Title: Who has worked ERC as a self bow ?
Post by: formerbutcher on June 11, 2009, 11:19:00 AM
I have a stave that is just under 61" 2" wide and knot free. I'm looking for a design to make a bend in the handle unbacked 40# bow. Think it can be done ? Or should i back it with something ?

Thanks John

that is too long a draw for a 61in cedar, red cedar for that draw should be 70in to be on the safe side, buts that just my opinion
