Built a bow for a buddy awhile back, seems he doesn't get to shoot it cause his son Luke is most of the time!! So I'm gonna build them another for Luke or his Dad? Got it outta the form and somewhat shaped up. Even shot it,sweet!!
Now the bad news,my regular computer blew up and I can't post pics til about the weekend.
Also if you are having trouble contacting me,please be patient,I'm workin on it!!Hiring it done anyways!! :knothead:

Oh, the new bow is red elm back, figured cherry belly, red elm core, curly hickory riser with 1/4" curly maple accent and 2 black glass accents on either side of maple......
64" d/r longbow, will come in around 52#@28"
-
Looking forward to seeing it. Is it from your sweet R/D form...the one that produces that perfect circular profile at full draw
-
Cool!
-
That be the form!!I'm gonna work on it a little tomorrow, time permitting!
-
Almost done,64" d/r,52# @ 28" last check, red elm flat grain back, figured cherry belly, curly hickory riser with curly maple and black glass accent.

That is an amazing bow Kenny. I absolutely love that profile. The unbraced, braced and full draw are just ideal. Great job!

Beautiful Bow. Nice work Kenny
-
I think this is your best one. Great work. Thanks for shareing.
-
Fantastic how does it shoot? :clapper:
-
Thanks again guys!
James,it is just like the rest off this form, easy shooter and accurate,no barnburning speed,at least with the 12+ gpp arras I'm shootin .
Keeps up with the Black Widow PL II I've got tho, identical arra speeds, but easier for me to shoot!
Of course,I built it so it may fit my hand better than the Widow! LOL
-
excelent choice of woods Kenny!
that riser's awesome! great proof for your skills ;)

Just found this site. I have been shooting a grayling era super grizzly 18 years & took my best buck to date with it , a 140 inch 12 point. I thought I knew more than most about trad. bows & trad. hunting,BUT you guys on here have blown my mind. As the name implies I am a diesel tech & if I had your skill & artistic flair I would build bows & not WORK another day !!! Beautiful bow !!!!
