Hello, again folks.
Last week i have made lots of bows. My best friend and hunting/fishing buddy died only 41 years old last friday. My way to handle the loss, is go to work and make bows. 12 longbows and 60 arrows for customer. All from Norwegian ash, with grip of elk skin and B-50 string.

And i have made a bow for my wife. 30#@26" R/D longbow? My try too design from scratch. Norwegian maple back, and American Walnut belly. Its not finish, but here is a few pics.. For tip overlays i think buffalo or walnut.

Very nice bows. You have been very busy. Concentrating on that many bows will definitely clear your mind. Now, a bit of your friend is in each of the bows and arrows.
Will you post pics of your arrows too? Thanks

Nice! That Norwegian ash must be tough stuff to handle that draw weight
-
Sorry for your loss, great looking bows.

Thank you guys.
PatB: I sold the arrows before pics was taken. But i will remember next time.
BenBow: Norwegian ash is very god bow wood. I have made lot of bows from american ash, and that is not the same. I guess the norwegian ash is similar too Am. Hickory.
