Title: splintering bamboo

Been having problems with bamboo splintering.looking for some good tonkin or madake bamboo? help.

You can get madake from Yumi bows.

You can google them.

Chuck,

What are you getting for your Madake and Hachiku bamboo backings?  

I've used both in my bamboo backed bows and they are the best bamboo's I've used so far.  I think I like the Madake better, but the jury is still out.
