Ok i was thinking and i am a new shooter and i was intrested in making bows can someone give me a basic list of steps that would get me a 35# by 28in longbow? i know it will take a couple of tries but i need something to start my work on right so anyone who can get me this that would be awesome (and if you have any comment of thing to do or change about making a bow like your own little things you have come across i would love to know them also) THANKS!

It would take hours to type what you are asking for. It's available on this site, if you don't mind reading what has already been written. If you have any more specific questions after learning some by reading, ask away. There are many generous soles on here to help you.

Prolly because George's awesome directions will yield a higher weight bow, but that's only if you get the tillering right the first time. trying to follow his directions for a 50# bow as your first build is a decent strategy to end up with a nice 35# bow.

Be prepared for a new obsession.
I have no advice except the following:
1. Go for it. Read, follow directions, make mistakes, and keep going.
2. Start with boards and then you will have skills for a stave.
