Title: The dimension's of a Super Kodiak
Post by: greyhawk39 on May 07, 2009, 12:32:00 PM
I bought a fred bear takedown over christmas I like this bow so much and want to preserve it,I want to build a Super Kodiak replica in a one piece version.I was wondering if somebody had a Super Kodiak in the later 60's to early 70's if I could get the dimension's of the riser for a 60" bow. This bow is for my own use not for sale.I have sent Al reader 2 emails and Mat dickerson and no reply on this...if you anybody has a measurement that would be great, thank's for your time.  :)

Greyhawk- I own a few Super Kodiaks and two of the original wooden B risers as well- a StyleI and a StyleII. The B riser with #1 limbs is essentially a Super Kodiak 3 piece. I'll take some photos and give you specs side by side either tonight or Saturday morning and pass them on to you. The Super K is pretty ambitious for a build at home and I hope you'll share it with us. Look for a PM.                 Grant
