Title: Laminated RecurveTiller Question
Post by: Hoghead on April 29, 2009, 12:52:00 AM
Evening,

Was just asked a question about tiller?. If this make's any sense?. What happen's if one limb is sanded to adjust/change tiller. Will that limb when lightened straighten more and reduce tiller or bend more and increase tiller?.

The sanded limb becomes weaker which will increase the distance of that limb to the string.

Thank's Wild Will!. I was pretty sure that was the case but feel much better having you confirm it. One of my shooting buddy's playing with a beat up yard sale find called last night and asked me the question. After some pondering, much easier to ask here and be sure!. :-)
