Title: Leather
Post by: tarponnut on April 18, 2009, 04:14:00 PM
I want to make a leather back quiver and don't know where to purchase the leather and the weight/thickness(oz?) to get. Any ideas?
I saw Rob's post(How-to) and want to try it.
Thanks, Jim

4oz to 6oz latigo or oak tanned leather will work well for a back quiver.  I know CrazyCrow sells leather, other folks may have other choices.

See if you have a "Tandy Leather" store nearby they have everything.  If you have a saddle shop around, maybe they could get you in touch with a supplier.

Here's a place I've gotten leather...very knowledgeable and helpful.

Nope - no association or payment for this endorsement...just a happy customer.
