We put one together for my bro and huntin buddy,John.
Coco riser with 2 .050" black glass strips in a canine, cept it ended up bein a tusk cause we had to shave the limbs a little narrow due to a slippage prob. Also caused us to make it a 62" bow to get weight he wanted. Came out 50# at 27",stained curly maple limbs, coco riser with black glass accents, he did the shaping to suit himself. I think it looks really good(there is a couple dry spots in finish still)

Very nice Kenny. What type of stain did you use on the lams? I am impressed with this bow. Lots of tricks used on this one.

Hi Greg,
We used some lockwood dye that I bought from Binghams about 2 years ago. Silver grey first, then walnut.
Mixed with hot water and brushed on,then blotted off with a clean cloth.
We had to lay them under a board with weight to keep em flat, then put in the hotbox on low heat to dry.

Kenny those are some awesome veneers. Didn't you post a picture a while back of a new style R/D bow you had made? If so do you have a picture of it unstrung? I am making a new form with a lot more reflex and deflex in it. Just hope I have not gone to far. It might become a recurve. LOL
