Title: First timer needs big help
Post by: D Shull on April 09, 2009, 07:23:00 PM
A friend of mine has a bear bow and the glass is coming off the belly, is there anything I can do or is it DEAD.

Seems like if you could get the glass all the way off you could put another peice on but wait on some advise from a more knoledgable boyer, but hope you can fix it, I would hate to see a bear be unshootable, DEAD is a little harsh. Only because a BEAR NEVER DIES. Good luck, Happy Hunting.

Take a picture and put it on the Trad History/Collecting forum. There are some Bear repair experts over there.

Shaun is giving you good advice...........belly(compression side) problems are way harder to get good results on than backs-depends on how much is lifting and where.
Posting pics on the collector site like Shaun says is the best way to come up with some hoped for remedies.
